50 Years of Racing in the Caribbean

Steriline Racing starting barriers have been starting races in the Caribbean for more than 50 years.

We stay in contact with our customers to make sure their race day gates provide a reliable even start years after their first race. Today we check in on our customers in the Caribbean.

Starting barriers at Hippodrome de Martinique in 2007

Societe des Courses de la Martinique, Hippodrome de Martinique purchased Steriline Racing race day gates in 2007. Now more than 10 years on, the starting barriers are still looking great. With 12 to 14 race days per year, their major race event is the Grand Prix de la Collectivite territoriale de Martinique which is held in January.

Arima Race Club, Santa Rosa Park located in Trinidad and Tobago originally purchased Steriline Racing starting barriers in 1964. After more than 30 years of use, Arima Race Club purchased new Steriline Racing race day gates in 1998. A Steriline Technician recently visited Arima Race Club to service their starting gate and ensure that 20 years on the gates are still in good working order.

Race day gates at Santa Rosa Park

Barbados Turf Club first purchased Steriline Racing starting barriers in 1964 and they are still in use today. The club races 25 days of the year.
